Short version: the plugin talks to the internet exactly once, the website counts visits anonymously without cookies, and we never sell data.
When you activate SPECTRAfx, the plugin sends your license key and an identifier for your machine to Lemon Squeezy, our licensing and payment provider, to validate the key and register the seat. That is the only network call the plugin makes. After a successful activation, SPECTRAfx never contacts the network again: no telemetry, no analytics, no update pings. Deactivating a machine makes one further call to release the seat.
A small license file is saved alongside your presets so the plugin stays activated offline. It contains your license details and nothing else. Deleting it simply returns the plugin to demo mode.
Checkout is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. They process your payment details and email address under their privacy policy; Arknet Audio sees your order information (name, email, license key) so we can provide support, and never your payment details.
The site sets no cookies. We use Umami, a cookieless analytics service, to count anonymous page visits and button clicks (such as demo downloads and purchases) so we know what is working. It stores no personal information and cannot identify you. The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard, short-lived server logs. Fonts load from Google Fonts, the analytics script loads from Umami, and the checkout overlay loads from Lemon Squeezy, so those requests reach their servers when the page loads.
